Pastor Grady Simpson, sometimes known as “Shady Grady”, has been an Original Freewill Baptist Preacher for 37 years. He was ordained in May of 1985 and Pastored these churches: Macedonia Original Free Will Baptist Church, New Hope Christian Church, Oriental Original Free Will Baptist Church, and Sound View Original Free Will Baptist Church.

He has been married to his wife Nancy for 48 years and has three children, Robbie, Twins Rebecca and Daniel. They also have four grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Abigail, Codey, and Emma.

His education includes:
Martin County Community College: Law Enforcement Technology Associate Degree.
Craven County Community College: Associate of Science Degree.
East Carolina University: Bachelor of Science Social Studies.
East Carolina University: Masters of Public School Administration
